Borough Secretary/Tax Collector’s Office will be closed Wednesday, July 2; Thursday, July 3; and Friday, July 4. The office will reopen on Monday, July 7th.

GARBAGE SERVICES

If you have questions regarding garbage pickup or service, please call Allied Waste at 1-800-464-2120 between 7:30 AM and 5:00 PM

If you have questions about garbage billing, please contact the Borough Secretary at 724-222-2929 between the hours of 10:00 am and 3:00 pm, Monday through Friday.

Earned income tax for 2007 IS NOW DUE

Final Wage Tax Payments and W-2s FOR 2007 are due to Tax Collector, 15 Thayer Street. SEE FORMS PAGE FOR PAYMENT FORMS.

BOROUGH REAL ESTATE TAXES

“BOROUGH REAL ESTATE TAXES are due at face amount by June 30, 2008. Real estate taxes are sent to and made payable to: Milton J. Schuler, Tax Collector, 15 Thayer Street, Washington, PA 15301. Payments in person are accepted at the Borough Offices Tuesdays thru Thursdays from 12 pm to 3 pm.”

LEAVES

Residents are asked to no longer rake leaves into the curb areas. Leaf machine pickup will cease after the current areas are cleaned. Bags of leaves may be placed out with garbage on Tuesdays.

PLEASE DO NOT PLACE GARBAGE OUT UNTIL MONDAY 6 PM FOR EARLY TUESDAY AM PICKUP.
